An Overview of Buying a Condominium in Blue Mountain Resort
If you’re thinking of buying a condominium, you may be interested in the beautiful pedestrian village in the Blue Mountains area, which incorporates resort condos for guests within a hotel structure.
Your resort condo would be managed by a property rental manager on your behalf. You will have personal use of it for 10 days every month.
If you don’t want to be part of the rental program, 20 percent of the units in each of the 5 hotel buildings can opt out of it. You, as the condo owner, will receive revenue from guest visits in the rental program to offset your costs. The 5 hotels, where buying a condominium is an option, are:
- Westin Trillium House
- Mosaic
- Seasons at Blue
- Weider Lodge
- The Grand Georgian
Rivergrass and Snowbridge
These condos were built around the Monterra Golf Course. They are bigger than the village units – similar in size to the older condos in Blue Mountain. If you prefer renting rather than buying a condominium here, rental is available through a rental program, as well as private sources, and also on a seasonal basis.
There are also 4 resort condominium complexes in Blue Mountain itself: Mountain Walk, Wintergreen, Cachet Crossing and Chateau Ridge. These offer golf course access or ski-in/ski-out capability. They can also be managed voluntarily as part of a rental program to generate income to offset the costs of buying a condominium.
