Krista, a lifelong Collingwood resident, has been active in the Collingwood Real Estate market for over 20 years working with the Hawkins Real Estate Group (formerly the Hawkins/Ryerse Real Estate Group). Krista made the transition from marketing coordinator to full time active REALTORⓇ in 2018. In 2021, Krista became a Director’s Platinum Award winner representing the top 5% of Royal LePage National Sales.
Collingwood has been Krista’s home for life. She was born here, grew up here and other than a few years away to attend Queen’s University has spent her adulthood in Collingwood. There truly is no place Krista would rather raise her family. She embraces Collingwood’s working class heritage and enjoys the recreational and entrepreneurial community Collingwood has become. Krista’s roots run deep in the Collingwood area. Her father was a school principal for years and the Mayor of Collingwood for almost a decade. Almost all of her family and her husband’s family still work and live here. From policing, to teaching, to nursing to small business ownership, there is no shortage of passion for this area in her family. As a married, working mother with two young girls, Krista has learned to appreciate what truly matters in life and all that living in a great town like Collingwood has to offer.
Krista is a proud supporter of Toronto Sick Kids Hospital, The Canadian Retinoblastoma Society, Hospice Georgian Triangle and The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. She enjoys spending time with her family, is an active ‘dance mom’ and loves hiking, biking, yoga, reading and boating.
